Who We Are
Managed by Grand Senior Living, Abrams Assisted Living is one of the latest projects of The Parks, a 66-acre redevelopment of the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center located in the Upper Northwest DC.
Abrams Assisted Living is a senior living community designed to care for the District of Columbia's most vulnerable residents; seniors with extremely low income, who need housing, and assistance with their daily activities.

Who We Serve
Abrams Assisted Living is designed to serve residents of the District of Columbia who qualify for each of the following:

Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH): Eligibility Criteria for PSH are determined by the Department of Human Services (DHS).

Low-Income Housing Tax Credit / Property Eligibility: Potential residents must be income-eligible and 62 years of age or older.

EPD Waiver Eligibility: Potential residents must qualify for and be accepted to the Elderly and Individuals with Physical Disabilities (EPD) Medicaid Waiver Program through the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF).

Assisted Living Residence Eligibility: Potential residents must qualify for assisted living level of care, which typically means needing assistance with 3 or more activities of daily living (ADLs)
